Humberto Queiroz

Short Bio

• Humberto Queiroz was born in Juiz de Fora, Brasil, in 1982. He received his Electrical Engineering degree from Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora in 2006 and his M.Sc. in Renewable Energy Engineering from Faculty of Sciences and Technology of Universidade Nova de Lisboa in 2018. Since 2019 he is now a student at the Ph.D. Program in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the same University and has been working with the Energy Research Group (UNINOVA-CTS).

Nuno Vilhena

Short Bio

• Nuno Vilhena was born in Santiago do Cacém, in 1988. He received his master degree in Electrotechnical Engineering and Computer, from Faculty of Sciences and Technology of NOVA University of Lisbon, in 2012. He is currently working with the Energy Research Group (CTS-UNINOVA) and he is a candidate of PhD degree at the same university. His research interests include superconducting fault current limiters, modelling and simulation of power systems and power transformers, energy efficiency and power electronics applications. He is a IEEE student member and a Portuguese Engineers Association student member.

Adriana Mar

Short Bio

• Adriana Mar was born in Faro, in 1993. She received her M.Sc. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Faculty of Sciences and Technology of Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Portugal, in 2016. Since 2017, she is pursuing the PhD degree in the Energy Efficiency. At the same time, she has been working with the Energy Research Group (UNINOVA-CTS) and, since 2015, as Teaching Assistant in courses taught at the Electrical Engineering Department at "Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa", NOVA University.

Shabnam Pasandideh

Short Bio

• Shabnam Pasandideh is currently a Ph.D. student and a researcher in New University of Lisbon (Uninova, FCT); the focus of her thesis is on resiliency of Cyber physical Systems, considering Human-in-the-loop by applying AI techniques. She has held her bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics in AmirKabir University in Iran and her master’s degree in Information Technology management in I.AU science and research branch. She has worked as an IT administrator in a Food Industry company and a manager in research unit in research deputy in I.A.U, also she was an invited professor in West branch of I.A.U in Iran. Besides that, she has organized some national and international conferences in the university in Tehran and has been a local organizer of 2 Scientific International conferences in Lisbon. Thanks for her background and interest in research, she has been involved in 3 European projects since 2016. In the recent project, she is conducting tasks on bigdata analysis, ICT platforms and applications for tourism sustainability.

Fábio Januário

Short Bio

• Fábio Januário was born in Almada, Portugal, in 1988. He received his M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Faculty of Sciences and Technology of NOVA University of Lisbon, Portugal, in 2012. He is currently working with the Energy Research Group (CTS-UNINOVA) and he is a candidate of Ph.D. degree at the same university.

Vasco Delgado-Gomes

Short Bio

• Vasco Delgado-Gomes received his master degree from NOVA University of Lisbon, Faculty of Science and Technologies, Lisbon, Portugal, and he is currently a PhD student at the same university. Since 2010, he has been with the Centre of Technology and Systems (CTS) – UNINOVA, where he collaborated in several national and international research projects. He is currently working with the Energy Research Group.
