Senior Researcher
Anabela Gonçalves Pronto
- Anabela Pronto received the Dipl. Eng. Degree in Materials Engineering from Faculty of Sciences and Technology (FCT) of New University of Lisbon, in 1992. In 1996, she began her career in Electrical Department of FCT, as lecturer, in the area of energy and electrical machines. At 2010, she received her PhD degree in energy field. Jointly with teaching and research work in energy field, from 1994 to 2003 she also participated in European Union projects, through FCT, in the field of systems of energy production and conversion, and their social, environmental and economic implications. A great number of these projects are concerning developing countries. Since 2010, she is assistant professor at FCT in Electrical Engineering Department. Since 2010, she has published eleven scientific papers in international journals with referees. She has also collaborated in several R&D projects. Actually she participates in H2020 European Projects, Nobel Grid and Storage4Grid. She is an integrated member of Centre of Technology and Systems, Uninova (Portugal). Since the end of 2014, she has also collaborated with European Commission as individual evaluator and vice chair for European research projects evaluation processes.
